Wednesday marked the grand opening of the new Eskasoni Shipyard in Sydport. This shipyard is a substantial investment into Eskasoni's economy and community, and will provide many new employment opportunities for residents, and was done in partnership with Marine Recycling Corporation. The new land acquisition is located at 10 Marine Drive in Sydport.
