    National Cyber Threat Assessment 2025-2026

    The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security’s National Cyber Threat  Assessment 2025-2026 is an instrumental tool in our comprehension of cyber threats to Canada. The threat assessment draws on public reporting and classified intelligence to paint an overall picture of the current threat landscape, while also forecasting future trends. By offering reliable and timely information, the report empowers Canadian organizations and individuals to prepare for and defend against current and emerging threats.

    Cyber Cyber Threats to Maritime Vessels Grow Exponentially 
    Cyber threats to maritime are increasing rapidly, and later this year Marlink will unveil a report which classifies the growing problem. From common phishing schemes to targeted attacks on command and control systems, Cedric Warde, Vice President, Global Sales – Digital, Marlink discusses the threats and the means to help avoid them.

    Canadian Armed Forces Establishes a New Cyber Command

    The establishment of CAFCYBERCOM represents an important milestone for the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Our North, Strong and Free committed to establishing a new CAF Cyber Command, demonstrating Canada’s commitment to operating in the cyber domain and reflecting the essential role of cyber in modern operations.

    This new command will be led by Major-General Dave Yarker, who will be responsible for cyber operations, and cyber force sustainment, management, and development.

It highlights various voices in cyber roles and are meant to inspire future cyber talent. À l'occasion de la semaine des carrières dans le cyberespace, l'équipe chargée du développement des compétences cybernétiques présente une courte série de vidéos intitulée "Parcours inspirants dans le domaine de la cybersécurité". Elle met en lumière diverses voix dans des cyberrôles et a pour but d'inspirer les futurs talents en cybersécurité. Ils partagent les défis qu'ils ont dû relever et les conseils qu'ils donnent à ceux qui se destinent à une carrière dans le cyberespace.
