As always, for those of you who have not had the opportunity to do so yet, please consider joining CMISA as a member to enjoy our attractive member benefits while supporting our outreach efforts.

We are posting a number of announcements and presentations that may be of interest to you, ranging from the Government of Canada’s updated Guide for Procurement Pricing, the release of last year’s Navy Outlook presentations, the Summary of Feedback and Outcomes Report of the Future Naval Training System, and some funding opportunities. We are also sharing news items of interest to you, and Government of Canada procurement opportunities.

Finally, as always, please take note of our new Job Board and a) take advantage of it if your company has an opening and b) send links to friends and family so that we can attract new people into our sector. We all need the help!

Government of Canada Practitioner’s Guide for Procurement Pricing

The Government of Canada has released the Version 2022-1 Practitioner’s Guide for Procurement Pricing. This update, which builds on Phase 1, 2 and 3 of the Guide, is now available through the new Procurement Pricing homepage. These are proposed changes to the Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) Manual which affects the terms around the payment and incentive structures when working with the Government of Canada. Please visit the Latest Updates space on Buyandsell.gc.ca for more information. Please note that CMISA members have participated in information sessions with PSPC on previous iterations of this initiative so please let us know if you would like us to arrange for another virtual update call.
